First of all, you need to make a table. There will be some columns and rows to provide the needed information. From the leftmost, the column should be for meal. On this column, you can schedule for breakfast, morning feeding, lunch, afternoon feeding, dinner and evening feeding.

After that, the next column is for pattern. For example, you will give a formula, baby cereal and fruit for breakfast. For morning feeding, you will give your baby juice and dry cereal. For lunch, formula, meat, vegetable, and potato will be the menu. And you should plan the pattern for the whole day.

Then, you can provide the information about the amount of the pattern. For example, you create column of amount for 8 months. For breakfast, you give formula 7 to 8 oz, baby cereal for 3 to 5 T, and fruit 2 to 4 T. If you skip one patter, you just need to write No or None.

Next, you may provide a column for amount for 9 to 12 months. Older baby needs more foods. For example, you will 6 to 8 oz of formula, 4 to 6 T of baby cereal and 2 – 4 T of fruit for breakfast at 07.00 a.m. Then, you should schedule for the entire meal and pattern.

There is another way to make an infant feeding schedule template. The different only relates to the information provided. Here, you can start with Age column. On this column, you should classify the age of your infant into some categories such as 0-1 month, 1-4 months, 4-6 months, etc.

Then, you can follow it with some types of meal. For example, you plan the meal for breast milk, formula, grains, fruits & vegetables, and yogurt, neat & poultry. You have to describe each meal. For example, an infant at 0-1 month needs breast milk every 2 hours.

Besides that, a 0-1 year infant may also need formula. However, you cannot feed that infant with fruits, vegetables, yogurt, neat and poultry. When the infant grows older, the meal will be more complete and he or she needs all those meals.

One more column can be dedicated for tips. On the last column, you should provide the tips how to give feed the infant based on the meals available above. There are still many other ideas of infant feeding schedule. Hopefully this can be a useful reference.
